The Youth Ministry Calendar displays all upcoming events that are related to 6th grade, Middle School, and High School ministry. These events can vary from Sacramental Preparation sessions, Service opportunities, mandatory meetings, and more.

"The sacraments are both an invitation of love and a gift from God. Teens should be instructed and nourished in the faith within the family, the first teacher of youth. In time, faith formation is widened to include the Catholic school/parish faith formation, and the parish community. Together, these important groups help teens continue to encounter God’s love. The sacraments are to be received freely in faith and in love. The formation process must actively engage the family by creating an environment that supports and encourages the teens’ generous response to the Church’s universal call to holiness."

Confirmation White Paper – Diocese of Dallas

Service is a key component of our Catholic faith. Although knowing the faith and receiving formation is extremely important, it is also just as important to practice what we are taught. We are all called to serve through our baptism, and our service projects are designed to show all confirmation candidates how impactful our service can be.

"In the Mass and in Eucharistic Adoration we meet the merciful love of God that passes through the Heart of Jesus Christ."
Pope St. John Paul II

St. Mark Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministry hosts a
monthly bilingual night of Adoration. The night consists of bilingual Eucharistic Adoration, Praise and Worship, and an Exhortation.

Is God calling you to offer your gifts to St. Mark Youth Ministry? Whether you are outgoing or a "behind-the-scenes" helper, young or old, a total Bible geek or more of a beginner in your faith journey, we have an important way for you to contribute in forming the young Church as disciples of Christ! If you aren't sure where your gifts would fit best, we would love to meet with you and help you discern.

On this page, you will find extra links and resources
that will allow you to dive deeper into Catholic Church teachings. The resources are for anyone seeking to better know the faith, especially teens and parents.
